NEW YEARS MESSAGE from Dave Stearman, National Sales Manager

For many companies in 2005, trading conditions proved very difficult and the market for trade frames
became even more competitive.
The whole industry, from fabricators to installers and systems companies,
has had to look carefully at controlling costs.

Fortunately at Indigo Products we have very
accurate internal monitoring systems in the
factory and our financial and administrative
systems are capable of providing us with
information on an hourly basis.

We have, therefore, been able to react very
swiftly to changes in demand & fluctuating
market conditions. This has helped us to
respond much faster to the needs of our
customers who have typically seen
installation lead times fall from
6 to 8 weeks down to 3 to 4 weeks.

I believe that in the coming year it will be
essential to have a very high degree of
control within your business. For example,
we can tell not just how many and what
type of frames have been manufactured,
but exactly how many welds have been
undertaken in any hour of any given day.
It is this kind of information flow that
allows us to keep close control on
every aspect of our business.

I see 2006 as another difficult year. I believe the domestic market will plateau out and so major trade
fabricators such as Indigo Products will need to explore new markets and develop new products.
All companies will need to place greater emphasis on quality and service. We are striving to ensure
that when we deliver windows, doors or conservatories that they must be right first time.

In partnership with our systems company, we have a programme of new product development throughout
2006. The first will be the launch of the new Elite 70 bevelled suite in February. It will compliment our
ovalo system and provide our customers with greater choice.

In 2006 Indigo Products celebrates its 21st year of trading. We will continue to be pro-active, support
our loyal customers and bring innovative products to market which will ensure our continued success
throughout the year.
